The production of this video resource was supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) through the INE Public Outreach Grants program. The project was titled: "Professional Development Videos for Moving Beyond 'Best Practice.'" | Sustaining continual improvement. Three kinds of improvement are treated in this video: Continual improvement in meeting student achievement standards, continual improvement of students’ own ideas, and continual improvement of the teacher’s own practices in support of the first two kinds of improvement. Advice from teachers, students, and researchers are accompanied by video examples and graphical displays of data useful in assessing and sustaining continual improvement. |
